Terms of service

These terms apply when you use the Tivuzo website and the Tivuzo service provided by Tivuzo. By starting a trial or subscribing, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the property you represent.

1. The service

Tivuzo is an online hotel back office system covering property management, procurement, inventory, accounting and point of sale. The modules available to you depend on your plan.

2. Trials

New customers may receive a 14-day free trial. At the end of the trial you can subscribe to a paid plan. If you do not, your trial account may be suspended and its data deleted after a reasonable period, unless you ask us for an export.

3. Accounts and users

You are responsible for the users you add, for keeping login details confidential and for the activity in your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Fees and payment

Subscription fees are set out in your quote or order and are payable in advance for each billing period. We issue an invoice for every payment. If payment is overdue, we may suspend access after giving you notice. Fees may change with notice before your next billing period.

5. Your data

The data you enter into Tivuzo belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service and as described in our privacy policy. You can export your data while your account is active, and we will help with a full export if you leave.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to access other customers' data, disrupting the service, or using it for unlawful purposes.

7. Availability and support

We work to keep the service available and to fix problems quickly, and we provide support during Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm EAT. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.

8. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Ending the service

You can cancel at the end of any billing period. We may end the service for serious or repeated breach of these terms after giving notice.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute.
