What the POS covers
Built for hotel outlets, not stand-alone cafés.
Tables and orders
Lay out your restaurant, open orders by table, add courses and move or merge tables during service.
Kitchen and bar tickets
Orders print where they are prepared, so the kitchen and bar work from the same order the waiter took.
Charge to room
Post bills to an in-house guest's folio, with the outlet and items shown on the final room bill.
Split bills and payments
Split by item or by guest and take M-Pesa, card, cash or a mix on one bill.
Shift close
Close each shift with a cash count, see the difference and post takings to the right accounts.
Several outlets
Run the restaurant, bar, pool bar and room service as separate outlets with their own menus and reports.
POS questions
Questions about the POS
What hardware do we need?
A tablet or computer with a web browser at each till. Receipt and kitchen ticket printers and cash drawers can be connected as needed.
Can a bill be charged to a guest's room?
Yes. Choose the in-house guest and the bill goes to their folio in the PMS, to be settled at checkout.
Does the POS reduce stock?
Yes. When menu items are linked to recipes, each sale draws down the ingredients from the right store and records the cost of the sale.
